Born in Newfoundland she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Watkins) Blades. Survived by her daughter, Laura (Sandy Blyth), Hubbards; sons, Bradley (Melissa), Dartmouth; Josh, Halifax; 6 grandchildren; sister, Holly Blades, Digby. Predeceased by her husband, Charles and a brother, Charles. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday July 2, 2018 in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Rev. laurie Omstead officiating.
