It is with great sadness that the family of the late WILLIAM JAMES COOMBS ­­­­­­­­­­of Grand Bank announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin after a lengthy illness on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the age of 74. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are partner, Kathleen Herridge; son, Bradford of Saskatchewan; daughters, Debra Grandy (Clinton) of Burin and Joanne Thornhill (Dan) of Ontario; 5 grandchildren, Kirk, Colton, Kira, Kyle & Caitlyn; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Dora of 51 years. As per William’s request Cremation will be taking place.
