It is with great sadness that the family of the late GEORGE FORSEY ROSE of Grand Bank announces his passing at the St. Patrick’s Mercy Home in St. John’s on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at the age of 89. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are; daughter; Rhonda Rose-Colbert (Earl) of Goulds; step-daughter, Corrine Collins of St. John’s; sister, Helen Elliot; brother-in-law, Murray Wells; 2 grandchildren, Jeffrey & Candice; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen; parents, James & Mary Rose; and brother-in-law, John. The Rose Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank on Friday, June 15th from 2:00pm to 9:00pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, June 16th, at 2:00pm from The United Church, Grand Bank. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery in Grand Bank.
