Lillian Martin (March 16, 1941 – August 21, 2013) It is with great sadness the family of Lillian Martin of Burin announces her passing on August 21, 2013, at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre at the age of 72 years. Leaving to mourn husband ELeazer; sons Charles Leonard of St. John's, Gary (Shelly) of AB, Garland (Carmen) of AB and Don (Heather) of Burin; daughters Bonnie Slaney of St. Lawrence, Elaine Paul of St. John's and Donna Martin of Burin; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister Velma Power (Martin) and sister-in-law Rachael Marks plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by brother Don Marks and sisters Nancy Gillingham and Verna Mae Mayo. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin, Thursday and Friday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service to take place from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Saturday, August 24th at 2 PM.
