MARTHA MARY FLANNIGAN (1934-2013) Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, on Saturday, July 20, 2013, MARTHA MARY FLANNIGAN, of St. Lawrence, NL, in her 79th year. Leaving to mourn her loving sons Ron (Kathleen), Burin, Ern (Genevieve), St. Johns, Steve (Jacqueline), Marystown, Brian (Yvonne), St. Johns, and Allan, Marystown, daughters Kathleen (Joe Stapleton), Marystown, Rose (Cyril Farrell), Little Bay, Mary (Cliff Hillier), Marystown, Margaret (Clarence Hillier), St. Lawrence, 19 Grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren; brother Steve Spencer (Gabriella), Marystown, brother in law Hughie Hobey, Marystown, sister Pauline Clarke (Bernard), Marystown, sisters in law Stella Pittman (Phil), Marystown, and Josepha Pittman, Marystown, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Martha is predeceased by her husband Allan, sister Kathleen Hobey, grandson Joey Stapleton, and brother in law Pat Pittman. Resting at the St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, St. Lawrence, from 3 pm, Sunday, July 21, 2013 and all day Monday, July 22, 2013. The funeral service will take place from St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, St. Lawrence on a date and time to be announced. Interment will follow at the Mount Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Lawrence. Flowers accepted or donations in Martha’s memory may be made to the family.
