The Chronicle Herald, Halifax, July 17, 2013 Bernadette "Dot" Mary Lamrock (October 1, 1929 - July 14, 2013) LAMROCK, Bernadette Mary “Dot” - 83, of Villagedale, Shelburne Co., passed away on July 14, 2013 at the Roseway Hospital, Shelburne. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland on October 1, 1929 she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Hayes. Dot loved gardening and flowers. She also loved being surrounded by her family and friends, sharing a good laugh which she greatly enjoyed. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Lamrock; daughters, Lynn (Robert) Lamrock, Barrington; Lori (Shelden) Wallace, Middle Sackville; Jennifer (Stephen) Lamrock, Villagedale; brother, Richard (Nellie), St. John's, Newfoundland, and a number of nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, John and Michael; sisters Kathleen and Eileen. Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, July 18 from the Villagedale Union Church, Villagedale, at 7 p.m., Rev. Brad Pass officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Roseway Hospital Palliative Care Room or a charity of your choice.
