    3. Beulah Anstey-Bowser (February 19, 1923 - July 13, 2013) Anstey-Bowser, Beulah (Hickman), 90, Grand Bank, Nfld. passed away July 13, 2013 in Blue Crest Senior Home in Grand Bank Nfld. Born February 19, 1923 in Grand Bank, Nfld., she was a daughter of the late Margaret (Hynes) and Morgan Hickman. Beulah was predeceased by husbands William Bowser and John Ben Anstey; brothers Wilson Hickman and Morgan Hickman; sisters Jane Bowness, Edith Hickman, Ada Hickman, Margaret Hickman and daughter in law Glennis Bowser. Leaving to mourn sons Norman Bowser, Robert (Elinor) Bowser; step children May (Norman) Brewer, Clyde (Caroleann) Anstey, Ruby (George) Walters, Daphne (Tom) Martin; sister Eleanor (Lewis) Legge; sister in law Vina Hickman; grandchildren Wendy and Steven; three great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and also a large circle of other family and friends. A funeral service will be held 10:30 am Tuesday July 16 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street Dartmouth, Major Donna Howell officiating. Burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army or charity of choice. BRAKE (1937-2013) It is with great sadness that the family of the late THOMAS BRAKE of Marystown, NL, announces his passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence, on Monday, July 15, 2013, at the age of 75. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Frances; sons Thomas (Sharon) Brake of St. John’s, Fred (Karen) Brake of Marystown, George Brake of Marystown and Greg (Shirley) Brake of Grand Bank; daughter Jeannette Traynor (Michael) of Edmonton, AB: sisters-in-law Donalda Cheeke, Margaret Kelly, Delores Brake, Mary Walsh and Eliza Janes; brothers-in-law George Farrell, William Farrell, Anthony Farrell and John Farrell; 8 grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents Leo and Christina Brake; brothers John and Joseph; sisters Theresa Molloy and Margaret Brake. Resting and visitation to take place from Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Marystown, on Tuesday, July 16, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Thursday, July 18, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery.
