JOHN AUBREY WALKER (1948-2013) It is with great sadness that the family of the late JOHN WALKER of Lawn, NL, announces his passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at the age of 64. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: wife Marion of 40 years; daughter Tammy Walker and Spouse Neil Smith of Halifax, NS; father figure to Gail Manning; father figure to Dexter Manning; grandfather figure to Brad-Nicholas Edwards; sisters Margaret, Evelyn, Wanda and Sharon; brothers Mun, David, Joseph, Edward and Frank; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. John was predeceased by his parents Harold and Genevieve Walker and brother Harold Walker. Resting and visitation will take place from Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Lawn, on Thursday, October 3rd, beginning at 4:00 p.m. and Friday, October 4th, all day. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, October 5th, at 10:00 a.m., from Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church. Cremation will follow. In John’s memory donations may be made to The Burin Peninsula Dialysis Unit. No flowers by request of the family.
