NORMAN HICKEY (1948-2013) It is with great sadness that the family of the late NORMAN HICKEY of Grand Le Pierre, NL, announces his passing at his home in Grand Le Pierre, on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at the age of 65. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: wife Irene of 43 years; sons Glen (Shelly Brockerville) of Brooks, AB, Dwayne (Jennifer Sheppard) of Brooks, AB, Carl (Allison Garrecht) of Brooks, AB; daughters Priscilla (James Monaham) of Woodstock, ON and Patti-Lynn Hickey of Brooks, AB; mother Sarah Hickey of Lower Sackville, NS; sisters Joyce (William) Dominaux of Lower Sackville, NS; Diane (Dave) Kezzer of Lower Sackville, NS and Susan Kearley (Chris) of Dartmouth, NS; brothers Clayton (Linda Hickey) of Lower Sackville, NS; Willie Fizzard, Brian (Roma) Fizzard; 8 grandchildren Kayla Hickey, Brian Neu, Cassandra Monaham, Colby Monaham, Owen Sheppard, Alyssa Hickey, Kiera Hickey and Kade Hickey; 1 great-grandchild Brianna Stacey; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Norman was predeceased by father Ernest Hickey; brother Maxwell Fizzard and aunt Mable Bolt. Resting and visitation will take place from St. Thomas Anglican Church in Grand Le Pierre, on Tuesday, October 22, starting at 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 23, all day. The Funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 24, at 2:00 p.m. from St. Thomas Anglican Church. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Grand Le Pierre. In Norman’s memory donations may be made to the Hickey Family.
