JARVIS (1922-2013 It is with great sadness that the family of the late LEONA JARVIS of Lawn announces her passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Sunday, October 13, 2013, at the age of 91. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons William (Karen) of St. John’s, Gerard (Jackie), Eric (Marlene) and Barry (Trudy) all of Lawn; sisters Mercedes Slaney and Charolette Courneyea of Toronto; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Leona was predeceased by parents William and Caroline Collins; husband Valentine Jarvis; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Resting and visitation will take place from Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Lawn on Sunday, October 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Monday, October 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 15, at 10:00 a.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Lawn.
