AMBROSE C. MURPHY (1934-2013) It is with great sadness that the family of the late AMBROSE MURPHY of Parker’s Cove announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Monday, November 4, 2013, at the age of 79. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: wife Mary of 46 years; son Wayne (Lisa Crowley) of Parker’s Cove; 2 precious grandchildren Jamie and Kaylie; psisters-in-law Alice (Arthur Gaulton) of Parker’s Cove and Mary Amon of Hamilton, ON; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by Parents Albert and Elizabeth Murphy; brothers John, Peter, Pius, Daniel, Gerald and Cecil Murphy; sisters Hannah Synard, Lucy Hickey, Selina Hefferan and baby sister Agatha Murphy. Resting and visitation will take place from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Parker’s Cove on Tuesday, November 5, starting at 12:00 noon; Wednesday, November 6, all day. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, November 7, at 1:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Parker’s Cove. In Ambrose’s memory donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church or Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
