Gertrude King (July 25, 1933 – November 15, 2013) It is with great sadness the family of Gertrude King of Boat Harbour announces her passing at the Health Science Center on November 15, 2013, at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn son Dennis (Melanie) of Paradise; daughters Sheila (Gary) of NS, Sharon (Len) of Boat Harbour, Davena (Eddie) of Brookside and Pam (Kevin) of Paradise; grandchildren Kerri-lynn (Terry), Heather (Sheldon), Michael (Robyn), Shane (Kayla) and Adam; great grandchildren Abigail and Gavin plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by husband Albert; grandson Corey Lockyer and sisters Alma Mundon and Lorretta Smith. Resting at Church of Transfiguration, Boat Harbour Sunday, November 17th at 7 PM and all day Monday. Funeral Service to take place from Church of Transfiguration, Boat Harbour Tuesday, November 18th at 2 PM with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, Boat Harbour.
