Jason Lawrence Brockerville (August 13, 1977 – December 22, 2013) It is with great sadness the family of Jason Lawrence Brockerville of Goose Bay, formerly of Lawn, announces his passing on December 22, 2013 at Labrador Health Centre at the age of 36 years. Leaving to mourn wife Jacqui; son Jaden Fitzpatrick; grandmothers Alice Brockerville and Ruby Isaacs; sisters Jennifer, Jeanine and Melissa; brothers Chad, Justin and Jonathan; parents Odette Brockerville (Raymond) and James Isaacs (Priscilla); mother-in-law Georgina Dibbon plus a large circle of other family friends. Predeceased by son Jackson. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Thursday, December 26th from 2-9 pm. Friday, December 27th from 2-9 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Lawn. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, December 30th at 10 am from Holy Name of Jesus RC Church with cremation to follow.Flowers gratefully accepted of donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin. ****************************************************************** HELEN EDWARDS (1930-2013) It is with great sadness that the family of the late HELEN EDWARDS of St. Lawrence, announces her passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence, on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at the age of 83. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughters Beverley (Greg) Quirke of St. Lawrence and Elaine (Alonzo) Slaney of Edmonton, AB; sons Randell (Carolyn) Edwards of St. Lawrence, Barry (Renee) Edwards of Labrador City, and Darin Edwards (Tracey Elliott) of St. Albert, AB; daughter in law Deborah Edwards of St. Lawrence; brother Clarence (Margaret) Pike of St. Lawrence; stepsister Evelyn of Halifax, NS; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband Robert Edwards; son Robert Jr.; parents Bill and Lucy Pike; and sisters Mamie Tobin and Frances Hillier. Visitation will take place from St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, in St. Lawrence, on Monday, December 30th beginning at 11:00 a.m. from where the Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, December 31st, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Lawrence. In Helen’s memory donations may be made to Mt. Cecilia R.C. Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
