It is with great sadness that the family of the late CECIL LAMBE of Lawn announces his passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Friday, January 6, 2017, at the age of 80. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons, Cecil Jr. (Betty-Anne) of Whitby, ON, Shawn (Loretta) of Oshawa, ON; daughters, Barbara Strang (Tom Kelly) of Lawn, Rita Roul (Rod) of Lawn, Colleen Norman of St. Lawrence, Cheryl DeSousa (Steve) of Whitby, ON; sisters, Edith Tarrant (Jim) of Lawn, Mary Hodge (Will) of Lawn, Anne Lambe of St. John’s, Essie Lambe of St. John’s; brothers, Bob Lambe (Sharon) of Lawn, Harve Lambe of Lord’s Cove, Jerome Lambe (Thelma) of Brooks, AB; 13 grandchildren: Roy, Felicia, Noah, Andrew, Riley, Amy, Clay, Marsha, Melissa, Wayne Jr., Wade, Joey & Ashley; 16 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by wife, Mary Walsh Lambe; son, Mark Lambe; parents, Isaac and Anne Lambe; brothers, George, Pad and Sonny Lambe; sister, Louise Hillier; sons-in-law, Alonzo Strang and Wayne Norman. At Cecil’s request no public viewing will take place. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Lawn on Monday, January 9th, at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
