It is with great sadness that the family of the late CYRIL ROSE of Fortune announces his passing at the Grand Bank Health Care Centre in Grand Bank on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at the age of 61. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife, Beverley of 40 years; sons, Aaron Rose (Sylvia) of Grand Bank and Ryan Rose (partner, Pamela Stokes) of Fortune; granddaughter, Chloe Joy Rose; sister, Judy Osmond (David and family) of Grand Bank; sister-in-law, Elaine Rose and family of Grand Bank; mother-in-law, Margaret Hickman; sister-in-law, Sharon and family; brothers-in-law, Larry, George, Tom and families; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents, Garfield & Ruth Rose; brother, Everett Rose; father-in-law, John Hickman. The Rose Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Fortune on Friday, January 6th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, January 7th, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at the United Church in Fortune on Sunday, January 8th, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery in Fortune.
