Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, PATRICIA LILLIAN GRANDY of Garnish, NL, in her 65th year. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Ray, Garnish, her son Travis (Beverley), Garnish, daughter Sandra Vallis (Jason), Conception Bay South, NL; grandchildren Samantha Vallis, Owen Grandy and Gracie Grandy; brothers Levi Hodder (Beth), North Sydney, NS, Max Hodder (Jane), Creston South, Robert Hodder (Irene), Salmonier, Randy Hodder, (Bonnie), Burin, sisters Madeline Broydell, Burin Bay Arm, Ettie Jean Taylor (Alvin), Burin, Mary Mayo, Marystown, Faye Banfield (Cedric), Garnish; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Patricia is predeceased by her parents Samuel and Alice Hodder, brothers Kenneth, Thomas and Samuel Jr. and brother in law Edgar Broydell. The family will be receiving visitors at Salvation Army Citadel, Garnish, on Thursday, Feb. 02, 2017, from 1 – 9 pm and Friday from 10 am – noon. The funeral service will be held at Salvation Army Citadel, Garnish, on Friday, Feb. 03, 2017, at 2:00 pm. At Patricia’s request, cremation has taken place. No flowers at the request of the family.
