It is with great sadness that the family of the late WILFRED GREEN of Grand Bank announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Friday, January 20, 2017, at the age of 73. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife, Shirley of Grand Bank; Sons, Wade (Joanne) of Fortune, NL; Barry (Ailsa) of St. Albert, AB; Sisters, Marion (Chris) Hillier, Nina Reid, Lydia (Norm) Hillier, Brenda Bartlett, Gail (Bill) Moores, Rowena Green; Brothers, Reuben (Joyce) Green, Sidney (Peggy) Green; Grand-daughter, Shannon; Niece, Nicole Green; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Waterfield and Florence Green; and Parents-In-Law, George and Elsie Hardiman. The Green family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank on Saturday, January 21st, from 2 pm – 4 pm, and 7 pm – 9 pm; and Sunday, January 22nd, from 2 pm – 4 pm, and 7 pm – 9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the United Church in Grand Bank on Monday, January 23, 2017, at 2 pm. Interment will follow at The United Church Cemetery in Grand Bank. Sent from my iPad
