The Chronicle Herald, Halifax, January 24, 2017 Pearl Hopkins LeGrow(June 16, 1916 - January 19, 2017) LEGROW (Rowe) (Legge), Pearl Hopkins Passed peacefully away at Parkland at the Lakes, Dartmouth, NS on January 19, 2017, Pearl Hopkins LeGrow in her 101st year. Born in Heart's Content, NL, she was the last living member of her family. She was predeceased by her daughter Edna, first husband Harold Legge and second husband Raymond LeGrow. Left to mourn are her son, Douglas (Daphne), Dartmouth, NS; step-daughter, Joan LeDrew (Rex), St. John's, NL; granddaughters, Heather (Keith) Moore, Rothesay, NB, Penny (Peter) Flewwelling, Dartmouth, NS, and Susan (Jason) MacLeod, Barrie, ON; along with great-granddaughters, Amy and Erin Moore, Allison and Nicole Flewwelling, and Jessica, Ashlee and Hailee MacLeod. Cremation has taken place. Visitation to be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Portland St, Dartmouth from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A celebration of life will be held in St. Luke's Anglican Church, Veteran's Ave, Dartmouth on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 2pm with Rev. Matthew Sponagle officiating. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to the Vera Perlin Foundation, St. John's, NL, Feed Others Dartmouth or a charity of one's choice. Interment at a later date in St. John's NL.
