It is with great sadness that the family of the late WILLIAM JOSEPH MILLER of Rushoon announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at the age of 80. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife, Florence of 58 years; sons, George (Doreen) of Rushoon, Roderick (Laura) of Rushoon; daughters, Francina Sweetapple (Paul) of Torbay, Mary Miller (Al Saunders) of Grand Falls-Windsor; sister, Catherine Sweetapple of Torbay; 7 grandchildren: Carl Miller, Jason and Jeremy Sweetapple, Trevor, Rebecca and Dennis Miller and Emily Miller Saunders; 3 great-grandchildren: Sean and Lilah Sweetapple and Benjamin Miller; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents, Bernard and Mary Miller; son, Carl Miller; brother-in-law, Freeman Sweetapple. The Miller Family will be accepting visitors at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Rushoon on Saturday, January 28th, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Sunday, January 29th, 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; from where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 30th, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Christ the King Roman Catholic Cemetery in Rushoon.
