It is with great sadness that the family of the late ANNABELLA STEWART of Grand Bank announces her passing at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on Thursday, February 9 , 2017 at the age of 92. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons, Murdock Stewart (Velma) of Grand Bank, Howard Stewart (Margaret) of Marystown; daughters, Georgina Newport (Howard) of Marystown, Betty Osbourne of Grand Bank, Bertha Grandy (Ralph) of Frenchman’s Cove, Pearl Follett (Hubert) of Grand Beach, Bonnie Keeping (George) of Fortune; sisters, Mary, Sarah and Rhoda; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents, George and Sarah Brushett; husband, James Murdock Stewart; brothers, Thomas and Abram; step-brother, Bert; sisters, Gladys and Susie; grandson, Edward Mark Osbourne; grandsons-in-law, Leonard Peach and Lindsay Randell. Resting and visitation to take place from Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at St. Alban’s Anglican Church in Grand Bank at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery in Jacques Fontaine. In Annabella’s memory donations may be made to the St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
