Mitchell of Fortune announce his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the age of 72. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Sandra of 48 years; Son, Rodney (Shelly) of Grand Bank; Sisters, Bride Hickey, Joan Rideout (Fred), Selena Clarke (Frank); Brothers, John Mitchell Jr. (Joan), Mike Mitchell (Beulah); 1 Grandchild, Kendra (Pride and Joy!); plus an extremely large circle of relatives and friends. Resting and visitation to take place from Wiseman's Funeral Home, Fortune on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 from All Saints Anglican Church in Fortune at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at All Saints Anglican Cemetery in Fortune.
