It is with great sadness that the family of the late LEO F LEGGE of Winterland announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at the age of 72. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife, Shirley Smith of 30 years; sons, Micheal (Angelina) of Halifax, Alex (Jasmine) of Goulds, Lee of Winterland; daughters, Angela Bishop of Calgary, Glenda Rubia of Halifax, Kristie Legge (Michael Pidgeon) of Winterland, Paulette Smith of Calgary, Pamela Cluett (Warren) of Garnish; sisters, Linda (Roland) of St. George’s, Christina (John) of Montreal, Yvonne (Bob) of Halifax; brothers, Walter (Carmie) of Flat Bay, Clifton (Donna) of Robinsons, Gerald (Beatrice) of St. George’s & Hilroy; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; mother-in-law, Janet Dicks; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents, Edward and Elizabeth; sisters, Angie, Gladys and Jenita; brothers, Hilary and Kevin. The Legge Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Marystown on a date and time to be announced; from where the Funeral Service will take place on a date and time to be announced.
