Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL on Monday, February 27, 2017, LORENA (Lorraine) MAY of Garnish, NL, in her 87th year. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Nelson, Garnish, her daughter Suzanne, Chilliwack, BC, brothers Leonard Grandy, St. John’s, Roy Grandy (Sarah), Garnish, sister Carrie Burry, Portugal Cove; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Lorena is predeceased by her parents Rendell and Margaret Grandy and sister Shirley and brother in law Fred Burry. Resting at St. Giles Anglican Church, Garnish on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, from 2:00 pm, Thursday, Mar. 02, all day and Friday, Mar. 3, until noon. The funeral service will be held at St. Giles Anglican Church, Garnish, on Friday, March 3, 2017, at 2:00 pm. Cremation will follow with inurnment at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Garnish at a later date.
