It is with great sadness that the family of the late THOMAS MICHAEL CAINES of Fortune announces his passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at the age of 58. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sisters, Mary Dominix (Charles), Louisa Hillier (Hedley), Mercedes Caines (Fred); brothers, James Caines (Cecilia), Roy (Thryphena) Caines, Raymond Caines, Andre (Marjorie) Caines; aunt, Louisa Dunne; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents, James and Stella Caines; brothers, Phillip, Michael and Thomas Caines; sister, Margaret; and nephew, Rodney Hillier. The Caines Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Fortune on Wednesday, February 22nd, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm; Thursday, February 23rd, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at All Saints Anglican Church in Fortune on Friday, February 24th at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Point May.
