The Chronicle Herald, Halifax, Nova Scotia, November 28, 2018 Martn, Stanley Mac Age 87, of Upper Tantallon, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at home. Born in Stephenville, N.L., he was the son of the late John and Eliza (Oldford) Martin. Survived by his sons, Jeff and Colin, both of Calgary; Craig, Tantallon; daughters, Denise, Dartmouth; Twila Tuffs, Halifax; sisters, Lorraine (Melvin) Anderson of Calgary; Melba and Judy (Bill) Lafitte, both of Newfoundland; grandchildren, David, Ryan, Nichole, all of Halifax; two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife, Nevilia (Boutilier); sons, Hal and Paul in infancy; sister, Gwen Holleman. The family will receive visitors 4-7 p.m. Sunday, December 2nd in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Upper Tantallon. A Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 3rd in St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Tantallon, Rev. Brieanna Andrews officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
