    3. It is with broken hearts that the family of the late RUBY HODDER of St. Bernard’s announces her passing. Ruby passed away at her home in St. Bernard’s on November 19, 2018 at the age of 76. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her; sons, Cecil Jr. (Maxine) of Paradise and Jeffrey (Colette) of Paradise; daughters, Margaret (John Myles) of Medicine Hat, Verna (Ken Bolt) of Bay L’Argent, Lillian Hodder (Robert Redmond) of Avondale, Sharon (Greg Fewer) of Marystown and Delores Pike (Craig) of Torbay; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren: brothers, Gerald Murphy (Lizzie) of Parker’s Cove, Cecil Murphy (Gloria) of Parker’s Cove, Doug Murphy (Lillian) of Parker’s Cove and Gordon Murphy of Mount Pearl; sister, Daphne Parsons of Fort McMurray; sisters-in-law, Josephine Murphy of Parker’s Cove, Donna Murphy of St. John’s and Anne Murphy of Rushoon plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Ruby was predeceased by her husband Cecil Hodder, great-grandson Tristin Brown, brothers Alex Murphy, Ross Murphy & Frank Murphy and by her parents Lillian and John Murphy. The Hodder Family will be accepting visitors at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in St. Bernard’s on Wednesday, November 21st from 2pm – 4 pm & 7pm - 9 pm and Thursday, November 22nd from 2pm - 4 pm & 7pm - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in St. Bernard’s on Friday, November 23rd, 11:00 am. In Ruby’s memory donations may be made to the St. Bernard’s Volunteer Fire Dept. or flowers gratefully accepted.
