Vivian Mary Ann Smith (December 21, 1923-January 6, 2014) Passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank, on Monday January 6, 2014, Vivian Mary Ann Smith of Grand Bank age 90 years. Predeceased by husband Fred Smith, parents Thomas and Bertha Grandy, brothers; Jim, Leonard, and Clarence. Sisters Effie, Elizabeth, and Louise. Leaving to mourn; son Melvin (Edwina), daughters; Betty (Lloyd), and Bertha (George). 8 grandchildren, and 12 great- grandchildren. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home Grand Bank on Tuesday January 7th from 2 pm-4 pm and 7 pm-9 pm. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons Eric Faulkner of Kitchener, ON and Ford (Jacquie) Faulkner of Kitchener, ON; daughters Mercedes Molloy of Creston South, Katie (Bruce) Forsey of Grand Bank, Leona (John) Kilfoy of Marystown, Adela (Kevin) Hayse of Parker’s Cove, and Sandra (Gene) Langer of Kitchener, ON; brother Ernest (Alice) Farrell of Mooring Cove; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by husbands Augustine Power and Carlie Faulkner, parents Patrick and Mary Martha Farrell, son Ernest Power, daughter Mary Frances Stockley, son-in-law John Molloy, grandsons Shawn Kilfoy and Craig Power, great grand-daughter Jillian Walsh, and sisters Rita Brake, Hyacinth Power, and Mary Ann Edwards.
