Born in Bell Island, Newfoundland to Harvey and Margaret Yetman. Beloved wife of Victor for 43 years, loving mother of Victor Jr. (Cherie) and Terry. Nanny to Alexandra, Victoria and Joshua LeBlanc. Terrak, Landon and Owen LeBlanc. Lindsay Rodrigues and G.G.MA to Avery Panton. Dear sister of Wallace (May) Yetman, Gerald (Brenda) Yetman, Evelyn (Murdock) Butler, Rosalind (Ralph) Bickford, Jean (Jay) Kirk and Marie (Fred) Yetman. Dorothy will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her four brothers William, Harvey Jr, Harold and Donald and her sister Mary. Dorothy moved from Newfoundland to Ontario in 1966 with her family. And in November of 1969 she met the love of her life. Victor and Dorothy were united in marriage on March 21, 1970. They resided in Cambridge where they raised their two sons Victor Jr. and Terry. Victor and Dorothy travelled all over the United States and Canada together. Dorothy loved her family and friends. She loved camping at West Montrose Family Campground, where the entire park knew and loved her. She loved having Sunday dinners, she loved the outdoors, and Dorothy loved a bit of gambling. She was a member of St. Mary’s Parish and the founding member of the Butterfly Club. Dorothy’s family will welcome friends at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard Cambridge on Friday, January 3rd from 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 16 Cooper Street on Saturday, January 4th at 11 am. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Breast Cancer Research.
