KENNETH M. STRANG (1943-2014) It is with great sadness that the family of the late KENNETH M. STRANG of Lawn announces his passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at the age of 70. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Lorraine of 44 years, son Kenneth (Jennifer) of Lawn, mother-in-law Dorothy Haskell of St. Lawrence, sisters Helen Grant (John) of Lawn and Madeline Beck (Alvin) of Conception Bay South, brothers Walter (Norma) of Ottawa, George (Jean) of Foxtrap, Alfred (Marie) of Lawn, John (Doris) of Lawn, Theophilus of Lawn and Michael of Lawn, sisters-in-law Sandra Strang and Joanne Strang; 2 grandchildren Jonah and Olivia; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents Thomas and Lillian; brothers Thomas and Alexander and father-in-law Thomas Haskell. Resting and visitation will take place from Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Lawn, on Saturday, January 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, January 12, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 13, at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
