LEONARD EUGENE OSBOURNE (1929-2014) Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, NL, on Friday, January 24, 2014, LEONARD EUGENE OSBOURNE, of Little Bay East, NL, in his 84th year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Lily, daughter Paula Pike (Charlie), St. John’s, sons Maxwell (Joyce), Little Bay East, Glen (Marjorie), St. John’s, Brian (Karen), Paradise, Paul , St. John’s; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; brother Maxwell, Boston, MA, step brothers Melvin (Betty), Grand Bank, Calvin (Marie), Bay L’argent, Sandy (Pauline), St. John’s, step sisters Margaret Clarke, Little Bay East, Ivy Brushett (Angus), Jacques Fountaine, Jeanette Saunders (John), Marystown, Winnifred Cribb (Sandy), Marystown, Sharon Lomond (Geoff), Marystown, Theresa Hatcher (Don), Grand Bank, Pearl Osbourne, Marystown; and a large number relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Garfield and Irene Osbourne. Resting at Salem United Church, Little Bay East, on Sunday, Jan. 26, from 7 pm, and all day Monday, Jan. 27. The funeral service will be held at Salem United Church, Little Bay East, on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at the United Church Cemetery in Little Bay East. The family is ever so grateful to the passionate, loving care of the 7th Floor, St. Clare’s nursing staff who excelled and exceeded their kindness and attention to this lovely man. RENNIE (1935-2014) It is with great sadness that the family of the late PATRICK RENNIE of Little Bay, announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Friday, January 24, 2014, at the age of 78. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons Bill (Lillian) and Walter (Corina) both of Little Bay; daughters Juanita (Gerald) Ducey of Winterland, and Tonia (Luke) Murphy of Little Bay; sister Mildred (Alex) Clarke of Little St. Lawrence; step-sister Margaret Saint of Port Au Bras; sister-in-law Elsie Rennie of Lewins Cove; 5 grandchildren Johnathan Brockerville (Lianne Picard), Coralee Rennie (Grant Hooper), Michael Rennie (Kayla Legge), Melissa Brockerville (Michael Black), and Halie Rennie; step-grandson Christopher Coady; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by wife Margaret, daughter Sylvia Brockerville, parents Patrick and Lucy Rennie, brothers Bernard and George Rennie, sister Margaret Rennie, and step-brothers Martin and Albert Rennie. Resting and visitation will take place from Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, in Marystown, on Saturday, January 25th from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, January 26th from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 pm. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on a Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Little Bay.
