Jabez Curtis Welsh (January 25, 1928 – January 10, 2014) Passed peacefully away at the Burin Health Care Center on Friday January 10, 2014, Jabez Welsh of Grand Bank, age 85 years. Predeceased by parents James and Annie Welsh, wife Harriett (Sis) Welsh, brothers; Arthur and Charles Welsh, and Tom Laskey, sister Mary, and son Wilson. Leaving to mourn son Jim (Lucy), daughter-in law Georgina. 3 grandchildren; Robert (Heather), Tracy (Scott), Curtis (Michele). 6 great grandchildren; Samara, Jersey, Lincoln, Preston, Ava, and Vincent, and brother Wilson. Plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home Grand Bank on Saturday January 11th 1 pm-2 pm (Family Only), public visitation will be 2 pm-4 pm and 7 pm-9 pm, and Sunday January 12th 2 pm-4 pm and 7 pm-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday January 13th at 2 pm from the Grand Bank United Church. Interment to follow at the Grand Bank United Church Cemetery.
