Myrena Mayo (January 7, 1935-February 19, 2014) It is with great sadness the family of Myrena Mayo announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on February 19, 2014, at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn son Ray (Beatrice, mother of his children), daughter Jean (Wallace) of Creston; grandchildren Elaine (Junior), Paul (Karen), Tori and Tanner; great grandchildren Joshua, Cody, Paula, Jake, Ben and Noah; sisters Stella Farwell, Maisie Moulton and Mamie Sainsbury plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by husband Harold, sisters Madge, Betty and Ada; brothers Eli, Sam and Frank. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin, Thursday and Friday from 10 AM – 9 PM. Funeral Service to take place from Faith and Hope Corps, Creston Saturday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cancer Society or Faith and Hope Corps Cemetery Fund.
