Chesley Boyd Keeping (September 13, 1924 – February 17, 2014) Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Monday February 17, 2014 Chesley Keeping of Grand Bank in his 89th year. Predeceased by parents George and Violet keeping, children Chesley and Lloyd, sisters Bertha Follett, Wanda Follett, and Charlotte Follett. Leaving to mourn; wife Ethel of 65 years. Sons Roy (Betty), Bert (Ruth), Boyde (Maureen), Dennis (Amanda), and daughter Elizabeth (Max). Seven grandchildren; Colin, Cameron, Candace, Brandon, Monica, Mya, and Madilynn. Four great grandchildren; Beau, Shane, Hannah, and Jared. Special niece Lorraine McDougall, and special nephew Ronnie Knapp. Plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home Grand Bank on Tuesday February 18th 2 pm-4 pm (Family Only) public visitation 7 pm-9 pm, and on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 pm-4 pm and 7 pm-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Friday February 21st at 2 pm from the Grand Bank United Church. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery. No Flowers or donations by request of the family.
