Born in Port au Port, N.L., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Sussana (Morrell) Nolan. Surviving are daughters, Iretta (Jimmy) Knickle, Weymouth; Mabel (Jean-Luc) Comeau, Halifax; Barbara (Dave) Marshall, Edmonton, Alta.; son, Charles Bart Musgrave, Sackville, N.B.; grandchildren, Deanna (Andrew Miller) Musgrave, Saint John, N.B.; Melinda Musgrave, Halifax; Jennifer Musgrave, Saint John, N.B.; stepdaughter, Linda (Ron) Hiltz, Aylesford; step granddaughters, Andrea MacMillan, Bridgewater; Kelly (Claude) Aucoin, Victoria, B.C. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Hepburn; son, Robbie Hepburn; granddaughter, Dr. Deborah Musgrave, DVM; stepdaughter, Deborah (Hepburn) MacMillan; half-sisters, Mary (William) Nolan, Alice Bourgeosis.
