Born in St. Jacques, N.L., he was the son of William and Mary (Rose) Skinner. Harold worked as a teacher and principal in Halifax area schools and was very dedicated to St. John's Anglican Church and served on many committees. Survived by his son-in-law, Greg Bell; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Winnie; second wife, Ada (Roberts) and daughter, Linda Bell. Visitation Tuesday, September 25th from 4-7 p.m. in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Halifax. Funeral Service Wednesday September 26th at 2:30 p.m. in St. John's Anglican Church, 2187 Larry Uteck Blvd., Rev. Randy Townsend officiating; burial in St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John's Anglican Church. Family flowers only please.
