It is with broken hearts that the family of the late HERMAN L. PEACH of Grand Bank announces his passing. Herman passed away at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Center in St. Lawrence on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the age of 88. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his son, Lester (Pamela) Peach of Grand Bank; daughters, Lorein Boudreau of Grand Bank, and Eva (Samuel) Lake of Fortune; daughter-in-law, Valerie Peach of Grand Bank; 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-granddaughters; sisters, Cecilia Senior of Red Harbour, and Jane Anstey of Grand Bank; brothers, Albert (Hazel) Peach of Corner Brook, and Eric (Lena) Peach of Grand Bank; brother-in-law, Joseph Smith of Fortune; sister-in-law, Blanche (Joseph) Masters of Red Harbour; faithful homecare workers, Maude Anstey and Caroline Vallis; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Herman was predeceased by his wife, Rosella; son, Leonard; son-in-law, Eric Till; parents, John & Mary Peach; brothers, Fred (Babse) Peach and Charles (Louisa) Peach; sisters, Lorein Peach and Mamie (Ernest) Lockyer; sister-in-law, Susannah Smith; and brothers-in-law, Charles Senior and Allan Anstey. The Peach Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Grand Bank on Saturday, September 8th from 2 pm to 4 pm; and 7pm to 9 pm and Sunday, September 9th from 10 am to 12pm; 2 pm to 4 pm; and 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at the United Church in Grand Bank on a date and time to be announced. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Grand Bank.
