ROSE 1935-2018 Alfred passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on September 6th, 2018 at the age of 83. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Anna of 60 years; sons, Alfred Jr. (Cheryl) of Toronto, Kevin (Cordella) of St. John’s and Wade (Tina Belliveau) of Marystown; daughters, Margaret Rose (Frank Fair) of Gananoque, Ont, Alice Cooke (Don) of Winterland, Angela Grandy (Roger) of Winterland, Annette Collins (Gus) of Clarenville and Karen Stapleton (Dave) of Marystown; 13 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren; step-sister, Rita Rose (Ron) of Marystown; brothers-in-law, Peter Fitzpatrick (Mary) of Marystown and Daniel Brake (Phyllis) of Keswick, Ont. plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Alfred was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Angela Rose; children, Sandra and Kenneth and sister, Margaret Rose. The Rose Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Saturday, September 8th from 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday, September 9th from 1 pm to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Monday, September 10th at 10:30 am Interment to follow at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Marystown. In Alfred’s memory donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Restoration Fund, Marystown or flowers gratefully accepted.
