STAPLETON (1929-2016) It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY STAPLETON of Little St. Lawrence, formerly of Corbin, announces her passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the age of 86. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons, Edward Joseph Stapleton of Little St. Lawrence, Terry (Anna) Stapleton of Houston, BC and Raymond Stapleton of Little St. Lawrence; sisters, Bride Rose, Kathleen Neville, Violet Clarke and Theresa Fagan; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband, Edward; son, Bernard; daughter, Anne Marie; parents, Bernard & Elizabeth Grant; sisters, Nellie Wadman, Laura Bennett, Anne Grant & Meline Grant; brothers, Jim & Robert Grant: Resting and visitation will take place from St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St. Lawrence on Monday, July 4th, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 5th, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; from where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, July 6th, at 2:00 p.m. The Vigil Service will take place on Tuesday, July 5th, at 7:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Lawrence.
