The Chronicle Herald, Halifax, July 23, 2016 Darryl Joseph O'Keefe(1977 - 2016) O’KEEFE, Darryl Joseph – age 38 of Sackville, It is with profound sadness, that his family announces his passing on July 20, 2016. Born in Labrador City, Newfoundland, he was dearly loved and cherished by his parents Harold and Ellen O'Keefe. Darryl was a Information Technologist for 20 years. His biggest joys in life were his partner Lesa, his family and friends, and riding his motorcycles. He loved to ride at every opportunity and spent many days on off roads trails just enjoying nature. Darryl also loved his pets Nori and Theo and they will miss him terribly. He will be sadly missed by his loving partner Lesa Benson; his stepson Tristan Surette and his loving parents Harold and Ellen O’Keefe. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, July 25, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church in Enfield, Father Michael Walsh officiating. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to The Nova Scotia Mental Health Association.
