MICHAEL J. EDWARDS (1937-2016) It is with great sadness that the family of the late MICHAEL J. EDWARDS of Lawn announces his peaceful passing after a short battle with cancer at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Friday, November 11th, 2016 at the age of 79. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sisters, Martha Edwards of Lawn, and Blanche Billard of Port Au Choix; brother, Andy Edwards; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Sylvester & Ellen Mary Edwards; sisters, Susan, Evelyn, Lena & Ellen Mary; and brothers, Urvin, Peter, Sylvester & Christopher. The Edwards Family will be accepting visitors at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Lawn on Saturday, November 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Sunday, November 13th from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Lawn on Monday, November 14th, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lawn.
