Hello, I was wondering if there are any "Listers" out there that would be interested in doing some transcribing of Obits that are in image form. I am doing some organizing and came across about 195 images of Obits from Obitssearch (when it still existed) that need to be transcribed. I have others in different folders, but that can be another project, as I organize. Almost all of them are from the Goulds/Petty Harbour/Cape Broyle/Ferryland/Southern Shore areas, but a few are not. The date range is about mid 80's - mid 90's Here is my idea: If there are about 19 folks that are willing to participate, I can send approx. 10 images to each person to transcribe. As they are transcribed, we can share them with the other participants.
