It is with great sadness that the family of the late VERONICA G DIMMER of Fox Cove, announce her passing at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at the age of 97. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are; sons, Eugene (Cathy) of Fox Cove, John (Mary) of Fox Cove, Danny (Marguerite) of Fox Cove; daughters, Theresa Lee of Kitchener, ON, Alice Whitten of Fox Cove; 9 grandchildren, Stephen, Kelly, Jaclyn, Jonathan, Bradley, Michael, Jack, Jennifer, Michael; 2 great-grandchildren, Trinity Cody; brothers, Patrick Antle (Veta) of Fox Cove, Pius Antle (Cathy) of Dartmouth, NS; sisters, Jane Power of St. John’s, Mary Lightener (Richard) of California.; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, John T. Dimmer; parents, Daniel & Catherine Antle; brothers, Agustus, Harry, Ignatius, James, Anthony; son-in-law, Raymond Whitten; brother-in-law, Agustus Power; sisters-in-law, Lillian Antle, Marylee Antle, Theresa Antle. The Dimmer family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home in Creston on Thursday, August 30th from 2:00pm to 9:00pm and Friday, August 31st from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 1st at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Burin at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Fox Cove.
