Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Margaret and two sisters Evelyn Mansfield and Teresa Lahey. He is survived by his brother Cyril Fitzgerald, sisters Doris Dalton, Winnie Ross and Angela McLean. He is survived by many nieces and nephews especially Andrea, Bill, Danette and his grand-nephew William. Born on Bell Island, N.L., July 8, 1952, to parents Bill and Lizzy Ann Clements. Ray was a skilled electronics technician for the Coast Guard and Air Force for 38 years and was an avid golfer who always believed family came first. Survived by his loving wife, Jeannie, his soulmate and best friend since 1978; sons Christopher (Caley) and Matthew (Amanda); siblings Catherine, Bill (Geraldine), sister in law Judy, Evelyn and Rita (Roy); one granddaughter, his little peanut, Payton; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Elizabeth (nee Johnson), father William, sister Mary and brother Gerald. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ray's life Friday, Aug. 2, from 6-9 pm at St. Frances by the Lakes Anglican church hall on First Lake Drive in Sackville. The Chronicle Herald, Halifax, July 30, 2013 John Savoury 74(February 16, 1939 - July 26, 2013) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father, grandfather and friend. John passed away peacefully with family by his side at the VG Hospital on July 26, 2013. Born in Newfoundland, he was the son of the late William and Georgina (Brady) Savoury. John was a Fisherman and Drywaller. He enjoyed playing guitar, listening to Johnny Cash, fishing with Jason and spending time with family and his good friend Sylvia Ayles. Left with fond and loving memories are his sons Jason (Leslee) of Lower Sackville, and John of Newfoundland; and daughter Tammy of Minnesota. He was a loving grandfather to Marsha, April, Michele, Christopher, Alex, Samantha, Brooklyn, and Jett; and great- grandfather to Haylie, Madison, Liam and James. The Chronicle Herald, Halifax, July 29, 2013 Albert Gordon Moulton(April 12, 1929 - July 23, 2013) Moulton, Albert Gordon Sr. 84 died peacefully on July 23, 2013 at Ivany Place Senior's Residence, Bedford, where he lived for the past few years. Born on April 12, 1929, in Foote's Cove, Newfoundland, he was the only son of the late Fred and Ethel Pearl (Foote) Moulton of Burin Bay, Newfoundland. Albert was a long-time employee of Canada Post and after his retirement he looked forward to monthly lunch with his post office buddies and enjoyed golfing well into his early eighties. Albert also enjoyed driving and was the unofficial free taxi for family, friends, neighbours and literally anyone who needed to get somewhere, no matter the time of day or night. Albert loved his wife of 58 years, Ruth, and his sisters Lorraine and Norma dearly. They and their spouses would often go on driving excursions throughout Nova Scotia, dance away the night at the Newfoundland Club and enjoyed every minute of their Saturday night canasta card games with beans and fishcakes. Time spent with his grandson Shaun, meant a lot to Albert, he attended all of his little league games, took him golfing, and the two of them made a trip back to Newfoundland together. Visits from his great-grandchildren Paige and Nathan were one of the things he looked forward to most. At family get-togethers Albert could always be found with an accordion or guitar, which he would play for hours on end, only stopping long enough for "his cup of tea". Albert will be greatly missed by his family and all those who knew him. He is survived by his wife Ruth (Pitman), Bedford; sons, Gordon (Donna), Pleasant Point, Henry (Lucene), England; daughter, Velarie (Brian), Hubley; grandson, Shaun (Lindsay), Timberlea; great-granddaughter Paige and great-grandson Nathan, Timberlea; sisters Norma Moulton, Halifax, and Lorraine (Arch) Grandy, Bedford; and many nieces and nephews and their families. Visitation will take place in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS B3S 0E1, on Wednesday, July 31 from 6-8 pm. Funeral service to be held on Thursday, August 1 at 12 pm in the J.
