Eleanor Ann Royle (April 30, 1924 – October 7, 2013) Passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank on Monday October 7, 2013, Eleanor Ann Royle of Grand Bank, age 89 years. Predeceased by parents Christina and Henry Hiscock; husband Frederick. Leaving to mourn: daughter Christie, sons Jack (Eleanor), Fred (Darlene); grandchildren: Herma (Harley), Shannon (Randy), Maurice (Angela), Henrietta, Jack (Rachelle), Michael, Felicity and Kerry; 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 pm – 4 pm for (FAMILY ONLY); then open to public from 7 pm – 9 pm; Then on Wednesday from 2 pm – 4 pm; 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place from Warren's Funeral Home at 2 pm on Thursday, October 10th. Interment to follow at Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank. The Chronicle Herald, Halifax, October 8, 2013 Daisy M. Patterson(1931-2013) Age 82, of Hantsport, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born February 4, 1931 in Bareneed, Conception Bay, Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late William and Hagar (Boone) Moore. Daisy enjoyed to play cards, bingo and go shopping and do crossword puzzles. She loved all her visits with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Daisy attended the Baptist Church, and was a strong believer in the Bible. Daisy is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Malcolm; sons, Doug (Linda), Oromocto, New Brunswick and Wayne (Bev), St. Croix; daughters, Dona (Raymond) Peach, Falmouth and Lana (Bob) Shay, Hantsport; sister, Bertha Morgan, St. Thomas, Ontario; 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Jennie; sister, Gladys; brothers, Fred, Gus and Gordon. Special thanks to Lindsay Preston for all the care she showed towards Daisy. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where the family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, October 8. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 9 in Hantsport Baptist Church (corner of Main and Willow Streets), Rev. Earl MacDonald officiating. Interment will be held in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport, followed by a reception in the Church Fellowship Hall.
