The Cape Breton Post, February 20, 2014 Wilson Dove Passed in: Sydney Passed on: February 19th, 2014 It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of Wilson Dove on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Plemeth and Emily Mae (Hines) Dove He was employed in Toronto Ontario for 42 years and moved home for retirement. As a young man he was in the Navy. He was truly an outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and golfing. Wilson had a heart of gold, he will be deeply missed. Wilson is survived by his best friend and soul mate, Christina (Vern) Stockley; his children Dale, Halifax, Marcus, Toronto, Jason and Lance, Langley, B.C.; several grandchildren; step-mother, Lil, sisters, Shirley (Max) Legge, Gloria (Kevin) Gorman, Viola (Harold) Sparkes, Paula (Bill) Cowen, Georgina (Soren) Klein, Nena Abundo; brothers David (Charlotte), Ralph, Ron (Myrna) Gary, Lorne (Audrey) and Kevin (Nancy) as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Eddie, Freddie, Wayne and Rick. Cremation has taken place.
