Predeceased by her mother and father, Moses and Violet Anthony, and her sister Doris Armand. December 17, 2003 BYRNE, Mary (Minnie) (nee Galway) - Born in Harbour Grace, NL July 8, 1915, passed away in The Priory in Victoria, BC on December 16, 2003. Predeceased by her husband Peter; son Peter R.; brothers: James and John and sister Bridget Byrne. Minnie is remembered by her sister Alice Burke; children: Bill (Darlene), Betty (Guy) Hanahan, Alice Lambert, Blair (Thurley), Eric (Margarita), Wally (Cathy), Bob (Mona) and Peg (Ron) Gardiner; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; daughters-in-law: Dorothy, Edna and Debbie. She was raised and lived on Bell Island until moving to Victoria in 1969. Mom will be greatly missed for the love and joy she gave to her family and friends, and the many prayers for all of us.
