Edward was son of John Gardner,b. 10 May 1787 Parish of Aslebury, County of Somerset, Great Britain, christened 22 July 1787, North Perrot, Great Britain, married 23 Nov 1814 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Trinity, Trinity Bay to Grace Stone, b. 22 May 1797, Old Bonaventure, bapt 27 May 1798, Old Bonaventure, died 28 Dec 1879, British Harbour, Trinity Bay.This John drowned about 1834 while returning from Trinity,, Trinity Bay on way to British Harbour. This Grace Stone is a relative of my family. She was daughter of Henry Stone and Mary Hogarth.
