    2. A "novitiate" training center would be Catholic indeed. Infact, it would be the house of studies for candidates to the religious orders. Were there initials after the names of the teachers or administrator? These would be an indication of which community of religous to which these men were seeking admission, e.g. Franciscan, (OSF or TOR), Jesuit, (SJ), Pallottine, (SAC), etc. Diane in VA
