PEARCE, Arthur Ralph - Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Wednesday, August 6, 2003, Arthur R. Pearce, age 68 years. Left with fond memories his wife Peggy (nee Calver), daughter Debbie, sons David (Sandra) and Jonathan (Robyn) and poppy woo-woo`s special grandsons Spencer and Casey. Brothers Eric (Heidi), Lewis (Rita) and Raymond (Joan); sisters Dorothy (Ron), Jessie (Eldred), Claudia (Ches), Gail (Wayne) and Margie (Kass), brother-in-law John (Joanne), many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell`s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday, 1-5 and 7-9 p.m., Friday 10 a.m to 12 p.m., 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Faith Bible Chapel. August 07, 2003 POWER, Ann (nee Morrissey) - Passed peacefully away after a brief illness on August 5, 2003 at St. Clare`s Hospital, Ann Power of St. John`s. Predeceased by husband Max, daughter Patricia and grandson Jason. Leaving to mourn daughters: Rudy Janes (Fred - deceased), and Isabelle Derwin (Jimmy); sons: Bernard (Diane - deceased), Ivan (Barb), Sean (Diane), Tyrone (Ruby) and Max (Debbie); sixteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her loving husband Nathaniel; sisters: Jeanette Sullivan and Evelyn Flight (Clarence); brothers: William Sullivan (Belinda) and Fred Sullivan (Emily). Left to mourn with fond and loving memories devoted daughter Gail and son-in-law Robert Vavasour of Cloverdale, BC; beloved grandson Jeffrey and wife Irene and cherished great-grandsons: Zachary and Kyle of Vancouver, BC.
