She was born Sept. 21, 1922 in St. John`s, NL, Canada, a daughter of Albert and Emma Jean Bishop Tucker. She married John James England in St. John`s, NL, Canada. He predeceased her in 1996 after 54 years of marriage. She spent most of her life in Staten Island and Florida before settling in Wayland, where she continued her love of bingo, playing frequently at St. Joseph`s Church and at the Wayland Fire Department. She babysat for fun and made many cherished friends along the way. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters: Albert Tucker, Kevin Tucker, Eric Tucker, Walter Tucker, William Tucker, Alice Thorne, Edith Chipman and Sadie Tilley; also, a grandson Donald E. VanArsdale Jr. She is survived by four children: Barbara (Donald) VanArsdale Sr. of Dansville; Betty (Frederick) Leaney of Wurtsboro; John (Susan) England Sr. of Fort Edward and David England o! f Bellefontaine, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Sandra (Carl) Sanderson, Shannon (Arthur) Leaney-Levenson, John D.
